Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) specializing in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to support a high-volume surgical center. This travel assignment is based in Claremont, NH, offering the chance to work in a 26-suite, state-of-the-art Operating Room complex that supports a diverse patient populationfrom neonates to geriatrics. The surgical specialties include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neurosurgery, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic procedures.Shift Schedule:11:00 AM 11:30 PMOff-shift and on-call commitment: 45 shifts per 13-week contract, which may include weekday nights and weekend day/night shiftsQualifications and Experience:Current BLS certification requiredNational Certification as a Surgical Technologist is mandatoryMust obtain NH Medical Technologist licensure upon acceptancePrevious experience in a fast-paced operating room environment supporting multiple surgical specialtiesAbility to fulfill off-shift and on-call responsibilitiesResponsibilities:Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for various surgical proceduresAssist surgical teams during inpatient and outpatient operations, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safetyMaintain sterile field and manage surgical instruments efficientlySupport diverse patient care needs across all age groupsCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for seamless surgical workflowLocation Insights:Claremont, NH, offers a welcoming New England small-town atmosphere rich in history and natural beauty.
