Locums Anesthesiologist Location: Carson City, Nevada Assignment Overview* Coverage Model: On-site with call * Rotation: 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off * EMR: Cerner * Cardiac Experience: Preferred (TEE not required)Schedule & Call Requirements (Key Screening)* Day Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM * Call Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM * Call Schedule: OR call rotated equally among providers while on service * Call Response Time: 20 minutesLicensure & Credentialing Requirements* Active Nevada Medical License: Required before credentialing begins * NV CSR: Required * DEA License: RequiredPractice Model* Physicians supervise CRNAs and perform their own cases * Cardiac cases primarily performed by physiciansStaffing & OR Coverage* Daytime Providers:* 3 MDs * 10 CRNAsOR Availability:* 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM: 11 rooms (including OB) * 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: 5 rooms (including OB) * 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM: 3 rooms (including OB) * Additional Rooms:* Endoscopy: 1 room * CV: 1 room * Cath Lab: 1 roomCase Mix* Cardiac * General surgery * Orthopedics * OB * Urology * GI * Podiatry * Healthy pediatrics * ENT * Neuro * Vascular / thoracicRequired Skills & Procedures* Proficiency in spinals, regional blocks, and epidurals * Case logs required: Proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocksReferral Program Generous referral fees available.
