Job DescriptionLooking for a pro at chrome, nickel, or cadmium plating? Join our team as a Plating Technician and enjoy a chill first shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.What You'll Be Doing:Get hands-on with chemicals, run simple lab tests, and handle RCRA and hazardous waste like a bossNail plating lingo, prep items for plating, and tackle shot peen and grit blastingDecode basic blueprints and diagramsFlex those math muscles and lift stuff up to 50 poundsRoll with the punches in a dynamic work settingStay on top of plating records, process work orders, and use common sense in your tasksKeep your workspace shipshape, follow safety rules, and stay green-friendlyJob RequirementsWhat we're looking for:High School Diploma or GED - got it!3+ years of experience in Plating, including masking individual pieces and Aerospace tinkeringHands-on experience with lab analysis, hazardous waste know-how, and shot peen operationsUnderstanding of plating jargon like current density, amperage, and plating timeSafe hands when it comes to handling chemicalsAbility to read blueprints, crunch some numbers, and lift up to 50 poundsDiligent record-keeping and document preparation skillsClean freak with a knack for organization and following rulesIf you can ace a background check and drug screen, we want you!Area Temps still believes that the best way to serve both our employees and our customers is through personal service.
