Our Portfolio Facilities Directors are responsible for all aspects of residential property maintenance, including interior and exterior building inspections and the preventive maintenance program for a group of properties.We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Facilities Director for our corporate office to oversee facilities operations, regulatory compliance, and preventative maintenance for a regional multifamily housing portfolio. This role requires expertise in NY and NJ building inspections, HUD NSPIRE compliance, mechanical building systems, and preventative maintenance programs.Key Responsibilities:Oversee facilities operations for approximately 10 multifamily residential buildingsEnsure compliance with NY and NJ city and state inspection requirementsPrepare properties for HUD NSPIRE inspections and manage corrective actionsImplement and manage portfolio-wide preventative maintenance programsProvide technical oversight of boilers, heating plants, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systemsConduct routine property inspections and support on-site maintenance teamsManage contractors and vendors for repairs and capital improvement projectsAssist with maintenance budgeting and capital planningHUD/Affordable Housing Experience:Preparing properties for HUD NSPIRE or REAC inspectionsManaging inspection deficiency correctionsUnderstanding HUD compliance standards and documentationExperience working with federally assisted housing programsRequirements:7+ years of facilities or building operations experience in multifamily housingExperience overseeing multiple buildings or a regional portfolioStrong knowledge of boiler systems, heating plants, and building mechanical systemsFamiliarity with NY and NJ housing inspections and regulatory complianceStrong leadership and organizational skillsValid driver's license and ability to travel between propertiesAbout Us:For fifty years, MMS Group and its affiliates (Arco Management and TUC Management) have been dedicated to quality property management.
