Job Description Work in the Automation and Beverage Industry. Since 1992 Codi Manufacturing has been providing custom conveying and automation solutions to the beverage/beer, food, and household products. With the recent expansion into the Powder Distribution industry and new automation projects, we are expanding again.We are in need of full-time SolidWorks Drafter/Engineering Position(s).We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is a creative thinker with a strong work ethic to help our business expand to meet customer demands. Being a team player who is detail oriented with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills is essential. Become part of a team where you count not just another number.Daily tasks:Mechanical Drafting using SolidWorks. Focus on sheet metal and machined parts, as well as assemblies. Creating detail drawings for shop use.Hands-on building/testing of prototype machinesCreate shop work ordersManage projects through fabrication and assembly with shop leadsWork with vendors to research purchased parts and negotiate pricingWork with the design team to create best products possibleRequirementsStrong in Solidworks or comparable 3D CAD softwarePassion for design, mechanical systems and quality of workWillingness to Work Hard and Accept Constructive CriticismThrives working in a collaborative environmentReliable transportationNot Required but a PlusBS in ME or MET plus but not required for position3-5+ years designing machinery, machined parts, sheet metal fabricationExperience in aluminum can manufacturing, conveying, brewery equipment, or fill line and packaging equipment is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: DOECompany DescriptionFamily-owned and operated since 1992, CODI Manufacturing, has been providing custom conveying solutions to the beverage, beer, food and household products industries.
