The candidate will participate inall aspects of system development, including business process andsystem analysis, creation of new functional designs, creation andexecution of user test plans and system deployment activities. They willalso lead the effort to develop, communicate, and maintainmethodologies and standards to promote a consistent approach tobusiness analysis throughout the Project and in supporting/maintainingthe new System.--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---1. Elicit business requirements and document business systemsactivities: defines the business needs, assesses capability gaps ofexisting solutions and determines solution approaches to meetingbusiness needs (e.g., business case, fit-gap analysis document, orfunctional specification);2. Assist in prioritizing and organizing requirements. Communicatesbusiness process requirements to IT staff, program staff andstakeholders (e.g., business process flows, fit-gap analysis, orfunctional designs);3. Validates that proposed solutions meet business needs; evaluates theoutcome of system testing; confirms that the results are consistent withthe system or business process specifications (develops test scenarios,scripts, and data; reviews test results; and assesses the implementationof appropriate solutions to ensure they perform to the requiredspecifications and are capable of achieving the design capabilities);4. Plans the BA approach/activities: Analyzes the impact of change to ITsystem requirements or business processes and evaluates projecttimelines and priorities;5. Encourages stakeholders to resolve issues with design specificationsbefore implementation;6. Mentors state staff and new BA'sEstablishes, monitors and ensures that project goals/objectives are met;managing daily work/priorities.--- Required Qualifications ---• 84 months experience writing, analyzing detailed business requirementdocuments and use cases.• 84 months experience creating use case diagrams and activity diagramsusing UML techniques and Microsoft Visio.• 84 months experience designing and developing Graphical User Interface(GUI) for a large-scale(1000+ users) system development project.• 84 months experience organizing Joint Application Development sessions,presenting system documents to developers and users.• 84 months experience in testing software modules using Team FoundationServer/Azure Devops for logging defects and working with users for useracceptance testing, writing test plan, test cases and test scenarios.• 84 months experience working independently and providing direction andtraining to other members of the team.• 48 months experience eliciting business requirements related to socialservice programs (for example, Food Stamps, Medicaid, HEAP, TANF,Housing).• Bachelors' DegreeMVP Consulting Plus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
