Our success is driven by a talented and dedicated team that collaborates to deliver exceptional results on every project.Your Role at AcoustiAs a Drywall Finisher, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of drywall installations for our commercial and residential projects. Working closely with a dynamic team, you will help maintain Acousti's high standards and reputation for excellence.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Read and interpret project blueprints to plan and execute tasks effectivelyMeasure, cut, and install materials, including metal molding, ensuring precision and durabilityPrepare wall surfaces for finishing by spreading, smoothing, and sanding sealing compounds over joints, cracks, and holesEmbed tape into sealing compounds using trowels, spatulas, or mechanical applicators, blending joints seamlessly with wall surfacesApply primers, texturizing compounds, or additional coats to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces while ensuring adhesives are durableOperate scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, stilts, powder-actuated tools, and lasers while maintaining safety complianceWork independently or collaboratively to meet construction schedules and industry standards indoors and outdoorsPerform other duties as assigned, maintaining flexibility to adapt to project needsWhat We're Looking for in YouTo succeed in this role, you should have:Proven experience in drywall installation and repairKnowledge of industry tools and materialsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawingsPreferred QualificationsIn addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:* Experience in commercial drywall projects* Familiarity with acoustical ceiling installationsPreferred: High School DiplomaWhy Join Acousti?At Acousti, we offer more than just a job; we provide opportunities for growth and development in a collaborative, supportive environment.
