Manager-scheduled with block scheduling options; every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation; may float to the ER as needed.Hours per Week: 36Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately in MEDITECHAdminister medications and manage infusion pumps safely and competentlyTitrate drips per protocol (e.g., Insulin, Heparin, Levophed) and manage set‐rate infusions like AmiodaroneInterpret telemetry strips (Mindray monitors) and act promptly on abnormalitiesProvide respiratory care including high-flow, CPAP/BiPAP management and support with the Hamilton C1 ventilator as neededCollaborate with CNAs, PCTs and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and ensure patient safetySupport charge nurse and float to the ER when staffing needs require flexibilityParticipate in unit orientation and ongoing quality and safety initiativesEducationAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma accepted — BSN not requiredKnowledge & SkillsPatient assessments and clinical judgment in med-surg settingsInfusion pump management and safe medication administrationTelemetry strip interpretation (Mindray monitors)Drip titration protocols and vasoactive medication managementRespiratory equipment and treatments, including Hamilton C1 ventilatorCharting and documentation in MEDITECHAbility to work 12-hour night shifts and float to ER when neededStrong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care approachExperience in or appreciation for critical access hospital environmentsAbout United Health Care Staffing, Inc."Better Pay" and "Zero Headaches" and Ready to love your scrubs again?At United Health Care Staffing, we don't just fill shifts; we fulfill bucket lists.
