Key Responsibilities of the MedSurg Travel Nurse:Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting.Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatments.Administer medications and therapies according to physician orders.Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions. Requirements of the MedSurg Travel Nurse:Active North Dakota/Compact RN license (or eligibility to obtain).2 years MedSurg nursing experience required.Previous experience in Med Surg Nephrology patient population preferredCurrent BLS certification required.Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and communication skills.
