Skilled in handling exceptions, resolving billing discrepancies, and performing daily and monthly balancing and reconciliation activities. Provides support for ad-hoc reporting, client account reconciliations, and special projects as needed by the Manager, ODT Billing and Contract Administration. Demonstrates strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with external and internal teams.Responsibilities:Ensure timely and accurate billing and distribution of client invoices.Monitor and complete the temporary invoice (TMP) queue in a timely manner.Review all invoice lines, including fees, direct expenses, indirect expenses, and tax, to confirm items and amounts are correct before generating client invoices.Partner with the Client Services group to resolve outstanding questions related to client billings.Execute the printing and distribution of invoices, ensuring the correct email distribution is followed for each client.Provide support during month-end close related to forecasting, out-of-period items, and other financial reporting needs.Research and respond to inquiries from clients, client services/development, peers, and other internal stakeholders in a timely manner.Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation.Handle confidential information professionally and appropriately.Manage multiple tasks, establish priorities, and follow through on daily responsibilities.Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including supporting peers during absences.Manage a high volume of work from start to finish, including newly assigned weekly projects.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.Experience with accounting and financial systems.Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail, including the ability to check one’s own work for accuracy.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience interfacing with business customers to define general ledger, account, and reporting requirements.Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down business problems and evaluate practical solutions.Self-confidence and determination, with the ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations.Demonstrated customer orientation and a commitment to meeting internal and external stakeholder needs.A creative, flexible approach to solving business problems and improving performance.Preferred Qualifications:3 to 5 years of related professional experience.Knowledge of PeopleSoft Accounting/COA preferred.Experience with accounting and financial systems.Pay Range Guidelines for this Position:The salary range for this position is 60000 USD to 68000 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. In addition to your salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility requirements) and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
