This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in a hands-on setting, and is looking to continue building a strong foundation in accounting and finance.The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role will support a range of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and general administrative accounting support.Accounts Payable & Vendor SupportManage shared AP inboxes and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional mannerProcess accounts payable invoices accurately and efficientlyReview vendor statements and reconcile discrepanciesFollow up on missing documentation, including receipts and supporting recordsAccounts Receivable & Cash ManagementPrepare and distribute customer invoices according to monthly billing schedulesApply payments and allocate deposits to accounts receivable accountsAssist with deposit processing and payment trackingSupport collections and invoice follow-up as neededGeneral Accounting SupportAssist with month-end accounting activities and reporting processesMaintain accurate financial records and documentationSupport ad hoc accounting and administrative projects as neededContribute to process improvements and team efficiency initiativesWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experienceStrong understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry accounting principlesExperience with QuickBooks Online preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulasStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage recurring deadlinesExcellent communication and follow-up skillsExperience in healthcare, pharmacy, or multi-entity environments is a plus, but not requiredSkills & Attributes for SuccessStrong time management and organizational skillsClear and professional written and verbal communicationHigh level of professionalism and discretionAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDependable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindsetCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracyWork EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position, requiring four days per week in-office.
