Job ScopeEvaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment. Perform preventative maintenance of commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment. Accurately document all job-specific troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Service work orders and submit them to the Service Dispatcher in a timely manner. Participate in Emergency On-Call Service rotation for installations and repairs. Communicating effectively with customers and service team to build strong relationships internally and externally. EducationA High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Vocational School Training is helpful but not required. ExperienceFour to ten years of related experience Skills & AbilitiesComputer Skills: Field to Base computer training will be provided. Certificates & Licenses RequiredMassachusetts oil burner license Other RequirementsValid Drivers License - Class D & OSHA 10 Certification Other Requirements (Trade Specific)Must have a strong working knowledge of commercial Heating systems including Steam, Hot water and controls, pumps, piping, associated controls, and electrical circuits.
