Contractor CFO

We are seeking an experienced Contract CFO to support a company operating in a distressed environment with active lender oversight. This individual will work closely with the Company's CFO and the Everlane team to provide financial leadership, enhance reporting, support liquidity management, and help navigate lender and stakeholder requirements.The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance executive with experience in turnaround, restructuring, distressed situations, or lender-managed environments. Strong Private Equity exposure and Sage Intacct expertise are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Company CFO and Everlane team to oversee financial operations and strategic initiatives.Support cash flow management, liquidity forecasting, and working capital optimization.Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages for lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.Assist with lender communications, covenant compliance, and oversight requirements.Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial results.Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning in a dynamic environment.Evaluate and strengthen financial controls, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.Collaborate with leadership on turnaround, restructuring, and performance improvement initiatives.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions.Required QualificationsProven experience as a CFO, Interim CFO, or senior finance executive.Experience operating in distressed, turnaround, restructuring, or lender-controlled environments.Strong understanding of cash flow management, liquidity planning, and financial reporting.Experience working with lenders, creditors, and other financial stakeholders.Hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Private Equity-backed companies.Sage Intacct experience.Experience supporting companies through restructurings, recapitalizations, or operational turnarounds.Prior experience working in consulting, advisory, restructuring, or interim executive engagements.
