As a General Machinist II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various projects.Job Title: General Machinist IILocation: Pomona, CAPay Range: $22 - $28 hrShift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.What's the Job?Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools, including CNC tools.Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools.Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.Edit and write simple programs as needed for machine operations.What's Needed?Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, charts & tables.Needs to be able to edit programs and write simple programs.Needs to work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints.Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools.Monitor speed and feed of machines during the machining process.Able to edit programs and write simple programs.Must have both CNC and Manual experience.Prefer them to have both FANUC and HAAS controls for Lathes.The types of machines we have are HAAS CNC Lathes, FEMCO CNC Lathes, CHEVALIER CNC Lathes.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
