DescriptionMedical Group PracticesManagement/LeadershipReq #: 64386We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Clinical Supervisor. This is a working supervisory role, ideal for a clinically skilled and team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for both direct patient care and day-to-day operational oversight of the clinical team.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Duties:Participate in direct patient care, including:Triage of pediatric patientsAssisting with rooming and vital signsPerforming clinical procedures within scope of practiceServe as a clinical resource and mentor to medical assistants and nursing staffEnsure safe, high-quality, and compassionate care is delivered to all patientsAdministrative & Supervisory Duties:Collaborate with Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring adequate staffing and workflow efficiencyCollaborate with Practice Manager to support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staffMonitor compliance with safety and infection control standardsCollaborate with practice leadership to improve processes and patient experienceCollaborate with Practice Manager to assist with scheduling, timecard approvals, and performance evaluationsCollaborate with Practice Manager to facilitate team communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolutionSchedule:Full-time: 40 hours/weekChoice of schedule:Four 10-hour days (e.g., Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)Five 8-hour days (Monday-Friday)Summary:The Supervisor - Clinical RN role is responsible for supervising assigned staff within the assigned work areas(s).Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred.License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.Experience: Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required.
