Facility in Fredericksburg, VA seeking Anesthesiology locums coverageRates: $400/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: April 20, 2026.Duration: 26-week initial contract.Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday (50 hours/week).Flexibility: While the primary need is M-F days, the facility is highly flexible for providers interested in night shifts, weekend-only coverage, or night call.Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week (must be able to flex up to 50).EMR: Epic.Clinical Environment & ScopeYou will be credentialed at all three regional sites to provide maximum coverage flexibility:1. Facility 1Large-scale facility with 16 ORs, 2 OB suites, and 8 Endo suites.Cases: Open hearts, organ harvests (no transplants), thoracic, neuro/trauma, and healthy peds.Staffing: 24-hour coverage with in-house MDs and CRNAs.2. Facility 2Smaller, intimate hospital environment with 6 ORs and 1 OB suite.Cases: Heavy OB volume; all critical cases are transferred.Staffing: 24-hour in-house coverage.3. Facility 3Outpatient site adjacent to the main hospital; 6 ORs.Cases: Fast-turnaround bread-and-butter, Ortho, and Healthy Peds (Dental, ENT).Requirement: MDs must be proficient in blocks at this site.Practice ModelMedical Direction: Anesthesiologist to CRNA ratio of 1:3.Supervision: CRNAs practice under medical direction; their scope is limited to general anesthesia, spinals, and epidurals.MD Procedures: Anesthesiologists are expected to perform blocks (supraclavicular, popliteal, etc.).Solo Coverage: Must be willing to perform own cases solo if requested (Deal breaker if unwilling).Provider RequirementsLicensure: Active Virginia (VA) Medical License required at the time of submittal.Certifications: Must obtain AHA certifications (ACLS/BLS).DEA: Required.Experience: Comfortable with a wide range of cases including Cardiac (open heart) and Pediatric.About WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparent
