Shipping & Logistics Coordinator (Part-Time, Onsite – Palo Alto, CA)

MLS provides global logistics support. We are hiring two part-time team members to strengthen shipping operations. These roles will develop, improve, and implement a structured commercial shipping process while driving efficiency and collaborating across teams.Timeframe for hireLate May/ early June.SchedulesExperienced: Mon–Fri, 12–4 PMEntry-Level: Mon–Fri, 2–6 PMWhat You’ll DoExecute domestic and international shipmentsCoordinate with UPS, FedEx, and DHLHandle dangerous goods (training provided)Operate (or train on) forkliftCollaborate cross-functionallyTrack shipments and resolve issuesImprove workflows and efficiencyWho You AreExperienced Candidate (Role 1):Bring hands-on experience in commercial shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. Be comfortable managing end-to-end shipment workflows, including packaging, carrier coordination,documentation, and compliance—with particular strength in handling complex or regulated shipments such as dangerous goods. Have a track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing structured processes thatimprove accuracy, speed, and reliability.
