Logistics Coordinator
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support the movement of goods and maintain smooth distribution operations in Fremont, California. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can manage shipping activity, coordinate transportation, and help keep deliveries on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, practical logistics knowledge, and the ability to work effectively across warehouse, carrier, and customs-related processes.Responsibilities:- Oversee daily shipment activity to help ensure materials and products move accurately and on time.- Coordinate with carriers, warehouse teams, and internal partners to arrange pickups, deliveries, and distribution schedules.- Prepare and review shipping documentation to support accurate transportation and order fulfillment.- Track inbound and outbound freight, resolve delivery issues, and communicate status updates to relevant stakeholders.- Support customs-related shipping activity by helping maintain compliant documentation and process accuracy.- Monitor logistics workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, timing, and service reliability. Requirements - Experience supporting logistics, distribution, or shipping operations in a fast-paced environment.- Working knowledge of transportation coordination, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling.- Familiarity with customs documentation or international shipping compliance processes.- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.- Proficiency with standard business systems and tools used to manage logistics records and shipping information.
