A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - Med Surg Tele\n\nJob Details:\n• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with no evening shifts\n• Saturday call shifts from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for inpatient studies only\n• Mandatory telemetry and cardiology experience required\n• Responsible for performing stress testing in the Heart and Vascular Institute\n• Conduct plain treadmill, nuclear stress, and stress echocardiogram testing\n• Learn and implement stress testing protocols\n• Start IVs and administer Definity contrast agent\n• Work with cardiologists onsite who read all studies and are present for dobutamine stress testing\n• Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine Tech onsite for all nuclear stress testing\n• Perform both inpatient and outpatient stress testing\n• Work in combined stress and echo lab with RNs and cardiac sonographers\n• Use GE Ventri nuclear cameras and Epic software for reporting\n• No stress testing performed on weekends\n\nFacility:\nThis medical center features a specialized Heart and Vascular Institute with a state-of-the-art combined stress and echo lab.
