Details Hospital emergency department setting Three shift options available: day shift, flexible mid shift, and night shift 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Day shift weekend requirement: four weekend shifts per month (Saturday/Sunday) Night shift weekend requirement: six weekend shifts per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday, with Friday counting as a weekend day) Scheduler will make reasonable attempts to cohort weekend shifts to every other weekend, though adjustments may be necessary based on staffing No float requirement No on-call requirement 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Emergency department nursing experience required Additional Information Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file (booster not required) A copy of your COVID-19 vaccination card will be needed for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-692329.
