Supervisor Maintenance / Tooling

This is an on-site 2nd Shift position (M - F, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm) located in Gastonia, NC. As the Maintenance / Tool & Die Supervisor you will oversee a team of skilled technicians responsible for producing and repairing precision metal parts, tools, and dies, as well as maintaining all manufacturing equipment in the plant. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervising Tool & Die and Maintenance technicians for 2nd & 3rd shifts Overseeing repair and maintenance operations in the machine shop, ensuring that finished parts, tools, and dies meet specified tolerances Reviewing work orders and scheduling resources Monitoring machine shop tools and equipment, making necessary adjustments to setups, calibrations, and alignments Ensuring timely repair of production equipment to maintain production goals Developing and providing ongoing training to team members to enhance skills and support professional growth Performing other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment At least 2 years of supervisory experience in managing and leading maintenance operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment Required Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude Knowledge and experience working with an ERP system (SAP preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) Working knowledge of local and state OSHA and environmental regulations and requirements Preferred Education and Skills: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Maintenance Management or a closely related field Experience in automotive supplier manufacturing Lean manufacturing experience Familiarity with working with a MMS (Maintenance Management System) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $82,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift Application Question(s): Will you now or in the future require a Visa sponsorship to legally work in the United States?
