We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the third shift hours.Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations during the third shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, machine maintenance, and leadership. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and maintaining our equipment to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and staff during the third shiftDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machineryTroubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issuesEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policiesManage inventory of spare parts and maintenance suppliesTrain and mentor maintenance team membersCollaborate with other departments to minimize production downtimePrepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and reportsIdentify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement solutionsRespond to emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectivelyParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesManage maintenance budgets and control costsEnsure proper documentation of all maintenance activitiesConduct regular inspections of equipment and facilitiesStay updated on the latest maintenance technologies and best practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field2-4 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsProficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesKnowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteWillingness to work third shift hours (typically 11 PM - 7 AM)Preferred QualificationsSix Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certificationExperience with predictive maintenance techniquesKnowledge of automation and robotics maintenance
