Project Engineer Coordinator Date: 27 Sep 2024 Location: Houston State: TX Country: US Company: LTTS Job Description & Skill Requirement: Project Engineering, 1. Preparation of piping hydrotest packages for customer approval, which include P&IDs highlights, Line Lists, Customer Test Forms and Procedures. 2. Compilation of hydrotest posttest packages which include Weld Logs, Line Lists, P&IDs, ISO Heat Maps, and Material Test Reports. 3. Maintenance of full traceability material log for structural and piping assemblies. 4. Develop and maintain inspection processes for compliance of incoming building materials and engineered components at TurboFab, freight forwarders and customer sites. 5. Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Supply Chain and Business Management for preparation of Inspection & Test Plan and ensuring compliance of the entire Modular Solutions product portfolio. 6. Internal interfaces include Enterprise Process Excellence, Business Development, Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, TurboFab Operations, etc. 7. External interfaces include customers, customer inspector representatives, suppliers (agency workers, engineered item, commodity, NDE services), certifying body representatives, etc. 8. Completes special assignments and projects in support of organizational goals. 9. Support Construction Services and TurboFab root cause corrective action (RCCA) efforts by reporting non-conformances, ensuring consistency in process, implementing BIQ methods, and containment activities, utilizing internal databases such as TechConnect and MRCA. Review piping design with engineering team to discuss changes that could optimize fabrication and assembly. Attend the fabrication kick-off meetings and Advance Work Planning exercises as the SME of the QC team. Assist in project cost analysis by preparing an estimate of welding and testing activity involved in the project. Attend regular production meetings with cross-functional teams and actively develop a schedule for product testing to optimize between cost and the delivery team's demand. Coordinate with the customer’s engineers and QAs to manage/meet their expectations regarding the scale of documentation and traceability. Interact with the customer reps. regularly to discuss any concerns. Attend the fabrication kick-off meetings and Advance Work Planning exercises as the SME of the QC team. Compile and review the final project data books to ensure compliance of the product fabrication and testing. Lead/attend internal, state, ISO, etc. audits as SME and maintain organization-wide compliance certifications. Nearest Major Market: Houston
