This position supports core People Operations while actively partnering across the People Team on initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.This role owns and executes essential People programs across the employee lifecycle — from onboarding to offboarding, benefits to compliance, and systems to reporting — while contributing to broader People Team projects and cross-functional efforts. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, ensuring operational excellence while helping us continuously evolve and improve how we support our team.If you’re organized, proactive, and energized by both operational rigor and collaborative project work in a growing company, this role offers meaningful impact and growth.What You'll Do:Employee Lifecycle & Core OperationsManage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experienceExecute employee lifecycle changes, including hires, terminations, compensation updates, reporting structure changes, and leave administrationManage day-to-day administration of benefits programs, including enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and 401(k) inquiriesCoordinate leave of absence processes (medical, personal, FMLA, disability) in partnership with payroll, managers, and leave management partnersMaintain accurate employee records and ensure documentation remains compliant and audit-readyServe as a key administrator of HR systems, maintaining data integrity, supporting workflows, and generating reports as neededCompliance & Risk ManagementSupport compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws in alignment with established policies and guidanceAssist with required reporting (EEO, ADA, ERISA, Department of Labor, etc.) and documentation processesEnsure required trainings, labor law postings, and recordkeeping standards are maintainedCoordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders on immigration and work authorization processes as neededPeople Team Initiatives & ProjectsSupport People Team initiatives such as performance cycles, engagement programs, and learning & development effortsContribute to the execution of cross-functional People projectsSupport data gathering and reporting to inform the People Team's decisions and continuous improvement effortsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience within established frameworksWhat We're Looking For:5 or more years of progressive experience in HR, People Operations, or a related functionStrong working knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration, and HR compliance fundamentalsExperience managing leave of absence processes and partnering with payroll or external vendors is preferredDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and sound judgment in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across teamsComfortable working in HRIS systems and leveraging data/reporting to support decision-makingProactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in contributing to broader People Team initiativesBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferredLOCATION: San Mateo or Las VegasLocation: San Mateo or Las Vegas preferred.Flexible hybrid schedule for employees located near our offices. Remote candidates within the United States will also be considered.Slickdeals Compensation, Benefits, Perks:The expected base pay for this role is between $87,000 - $130,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
