Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role will focus on supporting production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output across fabrication and machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, particularly with CNC equipment, sheet metal fabrication, and process optimization. Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907 Pay: $65,000 annually ($31.25/hour) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to support production requirements. Collaborate with production teams to coordinate schedules, outputs, and specifications. Provide hands-on support with fabrication and machining processes (laser, turret press, brake press, CNC). Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and quality. Support estimation and quoting by reviewing designs and planning materials/labor requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role. Proficiency with CNC programming, blueprint reading, and fabrication equipment (laser, brake press, turret press). Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in metal fabrication, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial equipment industries a plus.
