The role will involve significant autonomy and consist of motion practice, conducting depositions, writing legal briefs, evaluating case viability, conducting research, handling negotiations, conducting trials, and generally engaging in the practice of personal injury law.QualificationsExperience litigating personal injury claims preferred, but not required0-5 years experience in litigation practiceNegotiation skillsAbility to improvise and problem-solveStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressureJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolBar admission in the state of IndianaResponsibilitiesDay-to-day handling of assigned casesGuiding clients through the case processDrafting and filing of motions and pleadingAppearing in Court Conducting settlement negotiations Preparing demand packagesConducting depositionsCompensation and BenefitsThe compensation for the position will depend on experience and range between $75,000.00 and $125,000.00 per year. CLE allowances, licensing expense reimbursement, competitive annual bonus opportunities, medical insurance, 401(k) and profit sharing will be available as well.
