These prefabricated modules enable faster deployment of computing capacity for hyperscale, enterprise, and edge computing environments.Position OverviewGTI is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design modular data center enclosures and cooling systems supporting high-density computing environments.Key Responsibilities • Design structural enclosures and modular steel assemblies for prefabricated data centers • Develop equipment layouts supporting racks, power distribution equipment, and cooling systems • Design cooling airflow systems supporting high-density computing loads • Perform CFD modeling to optimize airflow and thermal performance • Design HVAC integration including DX systems, chilled water systems, and airflow containment • Perform structural analysis for transport, lifting, and installation loads • Develop manufacturable designs for factory-built modular infrastructure • Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical power distribution infrastructure • Support prototype builds and factory testingRequired Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering • 7+ years of experience designing HVAC systems, industrial enclosures, or modular infrastructure • Strong experience with thermal management and airflow analysis • SolidWorks experience designing large structural assembliesPreferred Qualifications • Experience with data center cooling systems • Experience designing prefabricated infrastructure or modular buildings • Experience with high-density computing environmentsGTI promotes a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate against employees or applicants for employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, marital status, or any other Federal or State legally-protected classes.
