With operations in Arizona and New York, we specialize in high-mix, build-to-order manufacturing and full system integration—delivering scalable, mission-critical infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Position OverviewGTI Fabrication is seeking a Production Manager – Modular Data Center to lead manufacturing operations for complex, build-to-order modular data center systems. This role is responsible for driving execution across electrical integration, structural assembly, and final system delivery within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering foundation, deep electrical and data center infrastructure experience, and proven leadership in managing production teams building complex systems. This individual will play a critical role in scaling operations, improving throughput, and ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Leadership & ExecutionLead daily production operations for modular data center builds, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, and quality targetsManage and develop a team of supervisors, electricians, and assembly techniciansDrive production planning, staffing, and workflow coordination across multiple workstreams (electrical, mechanical, structural)Ensure on-time delivery of customer programs in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environmentElectrical & Data Center IntegrationOversee installation and integration of electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, and control panelsEnsure compliance with NEC, UL, and data center design standardsPartner closely with engineering on system designs, redlines, and manufacturability improvementsSupport commissioning, testing (FAT), and troubleshooting of electrical systemsEngineering & Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the bridge between Engineering, NPI, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure seamless production executionReview drawings, schematics, and BOMs to ensure production readinessDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on Lean manufacturing, process optimization, and throughputIdentify and resolve production bottlenecks, technical issues, and resource constraintsSafety, Quality & ComplianceChampion a strong safety-first culture aligned with OSHA and company standardsEnsure adherence to quality standards and inspection processes throughout build cyclesImplement and maintain standard work, process controls, and documentationLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issuesOperational ExcellenceTrack and report key production metrics including throughput, efficiency, on-time delivery, and quality performanceDrive improvements in labor utilization, material flow, and production layoutSupport scaling of manufacturing operations to meet growing demandQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering strongly preferred; Mechanical or related considered with strong electrical experience)5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadershipHands-on experience with electrical systems, power distribution, or industrial electrical integrationBackground in data centers, modular systems, power systems, or mission-critical infrastructurePrior leadership experience managing electricians, technicians, or skilled trades teamsStrong understanding of electrical codes (NEC), safety standards, and quality systemsPreferredExperience in modular construction, containerized systems, or prefabricated infrastructureLicensed Electrician or strong field electrical backgroundExperience with data center builds, BESS systems, or power generation systemsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience working in a high-growth or startup manufacturing environment
