In this exciting position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant standards. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the preparation of statutory financial reports for regulatory filing, analyzing financial results to identify trends and discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of reinsurance transactions related to life reinsurance contracts. You will take the lead in driving the month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing insightful internal management reports, and providing valuable financial insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the reinsurance or insurance sector. A robust understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements is essential, along with exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools is critical, and familiarity with life reinsurance contracts and transactions is a distinct advantage.
