Job Title : Financial Analyst (Associate Manager, Label Marketing & Accounting Administration)Location: Miami Beach, FL 33139Pay Rate: $25.00 – $28.00/hr (Strictly no flexibility)Shift: Mon–Thurs In-Office, Fri Work-from-Home (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)Status: Professional Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)Job OverviewUniversal Music Group (UMG) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the Universal Music Latino (UMLE) marketing teams. This role acts as a critical bridge between Marketing and Finance, ensuring that artist budgets are managed accurately and all vendor procurement is handled within internal systems. The ideal candidate has strong accounting or financial administration experience and thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced entertainment environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis: Support the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets alongside the VP of Label Operations. Track and analyze variances to budget for upcoming months.Marketing Budget Management: Partner with label leadership to set up and streamline budgets for artists and specific projects. Monitor expenses against monthly and quarterly targets.Procurement & Vendor Relations: Manage the end-to-end vendor payment process, including setting up new vendors in SAP/Uniport , creating requisitions, and facilitating PO approvals.System Monitoring: Maintain and monitor forecasting and planning systems, primarily utilizing UMG's internal SAP/Uniport platform.Project Administration: Manage deadlines with Marketing, Finance, and Legal departments. Organize meetings, music listening sessions, and record minutes as needed.Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide specialized analysis of artist projects as required and manage miscellaneous accounting projects.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 3–5 years of work experience in a professional environment, ideally within accounting, finance, or administration.Technical Skills:Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills.Proficiency in SAP (Uniport) is highly preferred; must be comfortable working with antiquated or slower internal systems.Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com (preferred), Asana, or Notion.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Bookkeeping is preferred.Soft Skills:Extreme Attention to Detail: Must be hyper-aware of budget status at all times.Communication: Skilled at managing multiple communication channels and interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.Prioritization: Ability to multitask and prioritize activities in a high-speed environment.Benefits (employee contribution):Health insuranceHealth savings accountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending accountsLife insuranceRetirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
