Document Control Analyst

Job Title: Document Control AnalystLocation: Houston, Texas (On-Site)Duration: 12 Months (Contract)Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will have strong experience in document control processes, SharePoint administration, and records management, along with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDocument Management & ControlDevelop, maintain, and execute the Information Management PlanManage document lifecycle including submission, revision, approval, and distributionMaintain master document register, transmittal logs, and distribution matricesEnsure proper document naming, numbering, and version controlTrack and report document status (received, pending, missing)Systems & SharePoint ManagementAdminister and maintain project SharePoint sitesSet up document repositories, metadata, and access permissionsEnsure secure handling of sensitive and restricted informationCoordination & ComplianceCoordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Field Teams, and ContractorsResolve discrepancies in documentation and deliverablesEnsure compliance with document control and records management policiesSupport document distribution as per project requirementsProject Closeout & Records ManagementManage all documentation related to project closeout activitiesSupport Project Turnover Memorandum processCoordinate with retention teams for hardcopy and electronic records storageMaintain records in project tracking tools and ensure completenessRequired QualificationsExperience in Document Control / Records Management / Project CoordinationStrong knowledge of SharePoint and document management systemsExperience managing document registers, logs, and version controlStrong organizational and attention-to-detail skillsAbility to coordinate with cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in construction, engineering, energy, or utilities projectsFamiliarity with project lifecycle documentation and closeout processesExperience handling sensitive or regulated documentation
