Document Control Analyst

Dasro is looking for a Document Control Analyst (Intermediate) for one of its clients in Houston, TXLocation: On-site – Houston, TXIndustry: Utilities and EnergyTerm: 12 months (fixed)Start Date: As soon as possibleResponsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide document management support to the project team, including the administration of the project SharePoint siteEnsure project documents and records are properly named, stored, and displaced to the system of record through project closeoutDevelop, maintain, and execute the Information Management PlanPartner with the U.S. SharePoint Administrator to develop project-specific SharePoint sites and establish security and access for contractors and internal groupsReview and revise Contractor Document Control Requirements to reflect the project’s contract(s)Develop transmittal logs, distribution matrices, and master document registers as requiredManage the setup, monitoring, and coordination of field document processesSet up document repositories, metadata, and access permissions for project documents/recordsTrack document submissions, revisions, approvals, and distributionManage document naming and numbering in accordance with requirementsControl sensitive and restricted information, including regulated informationDistribute documents in accordance with the document distribution matrixUse the master document register to track information deliverables and monitor for missing informationFile information in accordance with document control and records management requirementsTrack receipt of records and report the status (received/not received) to ManagementWork with the Project Manager, Engineer, Field Clerks, and/or Contractors to resolve discrepancies between the master document register and deliverablesMandatory Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in document control (Range: 3-10 years)English language proficiency at a professional working levelProven experience in managing document naming, numbering, and distribution within a project environmentExperience with SharePoint administration and setting up document repositories/access permissionsAbility to work on-site in Houston, TXDesired Qualifications:Familiarity with the Utilities and Energy industry landscapeExperience managing field document processes and master document registersKnowledge of records management requirements and project closeout proceduresAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and Retention Specialists
