Company DescriptionAtlanta Christian Film Festival, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to recognizing and showcasing Christian films that glorify God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Contributions to the organization are tax-deductible and help support its mission. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the festival provides a platform for new and established filmmakers to share their work with the community. The organization places a strong emphasis on uplifting storytelling and creating a space for inspiration and connection.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, mostly remote job for the Festival Director based in Atlanta, GA. The Festival Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of festival planning and execution, including event management and scheduling, coordinating with stakeholders, managing fundraising efforts, and building relationships with sponsors and donors. Additional responsibilities include curating film selections, managing event logistics, and developing strategic plans for growth and expansion of the festival’s mission. Work schedule is flexible but will require around 10 hours per week leading up to the event and 40+ hours during the festival. Salary is commission-only (based on a percentage of ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, etc. as determined by the Board of Directors).QualificationsProven experience in Event Management and Event Planning, including organizing large-scale events and managing logisticsExperience and skills in Fundraising, including building relationships with sponsors and donors to secure financial and material supportKnowledge and interest in Filmmaking and its integration into events and programmingStrong Strategic Planning abilities to develop and drive the overall vision of the festivalExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsExperience in the non-profit sector or familiarity with 501(c)(3) organizations is a plusA passion for Christian storytelling and creative industries
