Based in Las Vegas, NV, the Golden Steer blends tradition with innovation, providing a unique dining and culinary experience. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role as a Pastry Cook at the Golden Steer, located in Las Vegas, NV. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing and baking high-quality pastries and desserts to ensure superior taste and presentation. Daily tasks include following recipes, maintaining proper hygiene standards, and working closely with the kitchen team to support meal service. Creativity and attention to detail are essential in delivering exceptional culinary products consistent with the Golden Steer's standards. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with the ability to prepare a variety of pastries and dessertsCooking skills, including basic culinary techniques and familiarity with kitchen equipmentCreativity to design and decorate desserts that align with the restaurant's signature styleCommitment to maintaining exceptional Hygiene practices and food safety standardsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environmentAbility to collaborate effectively within a team and support overall kitchen operationsPrior pastry or culinary experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is highly preferredCulinary training or a related certification is a plus
