You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality viennoiserie and artisanal baked goods in a fast-paced, standards-driven kitchen—where technique, timing, and attention to detail are everything.1228 Main is a refined, neighborhood-driven restaurant and bakery located in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District, where French-inspired technique meets modern creativity. We are seeking a Pastry Cook with strong lamination expertise to join our talented baking and pastry team. Position Summary As a Pastry Cook, you will focus on the preparation and execution of laminated doughs and a range of artisanal baked goods. This role is ideal for someone passionate about viennoiserie, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce high volumes without compromising quality. You’ll play a key role in producing croissants, kouign-amanns, danishes, and other laminated pastries, while also contributing to bread baking and general pastry production. Success in this role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong understanding of dough development and fermentation. This is an afternoon-to-evening shift , best suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment.
