With a strong track record of quality, innovation, and long-term value creation, they are expanding their residential platform and seeking a talented Construction Manager / Owner's Representative to join their teamPosition OverviewThe Construction Manager / Owner's Representative will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of wood-framed multifamily residential developments. Acting as the owner's on-site and strategic representative, this individual will manage all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.This role requires a hands-on professional with deep expertise in wood-framed construction, strong financial and scheduling capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the owner's representative throughout all phases of construction, from pre-construction through project closeoutOversee general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goalsManage project budgets, track costs, review change orders, and maintain financial controlsDevelop, monitor, and enforce project schedules to ensure timely deliveryLead regular site meetings and provide detailed progress reporting to internal stakeholdersEnsure strict adherence to quality control standards, building codes, and safety requirementsReview construction documents, identify potential risks, and proactively implement solutionsCoordinate with internal development, design, and asset management teamsSupport procurement, contract negotiation, and value engineering effortsRequired Qualifications5–10 years of experience managing multifamily residential construction projectsExtensive experience with wood-framed (Type V) apartment construction is requiredProven ability to manage projects from ground-up through completionStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlDemonstrated expertise in construction scheduling and sequencingExperience implementing and maintaining quality control processesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment
