Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • 3x12 schedule with every other weekend and every other holiday required • Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts • Float within skillset as needed • 36 hours of orientation provided • Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS • Cerner EMR experience required • Triage experience required (hard stop) • Must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within past 8 months • 2 years of nursing experience required • Travel experience required (hard stop) • Previous charge experience preferred • Must have compact license or MD license • Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics • Handle approximately 130 visits per day in 40-room emergency department • Requires expert prioritization and organizational skills for fast-paced ER environment • Skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, phlebotomy, IV maintenance, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage Facility: This healthcare facility operates a high-volume emergency department with 40 beds and handles approximately 130 visits per day.
