The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development, leading transactions across various technology subsectors, and maintaining and managing client relationships. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in middle-market M&A and/or capital advisory within the technology sector, particularly in software, SaaS, IT services, cybersecurity, and fintech. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of investment banking experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the values of integrity and professionalism. As the Head of Technology, the role involves showcasing the full range of investment banking services, leveraging existing relationships, and building a network to originate and close new deal flow. The candidate will also be expected to mentor junior staff, participate in industry events, and act as a strategic advisor to clients. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and the candidate should be known for their leadership, management skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic culture.
