Senior VDC Engineer

Job DescriptionDPR Construction is seeking to fill a Virtual Design & Construction, Senior Project VDC Engineer. A successful candidate will lead development, implementation and support of all VDC processes across the region.The primary objective for this individual is to support established VDC initiatives leveraged by project teams both in the office and field, and supporting model-based project management, process workflows, and construction technology deployment for DPR business units.Responsibilities IncludeSupport project setup for 3D trade coordination, site logistical planning, and 4D sequencingAide and support training in various software packages (i.e.: Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)Administer and support VDC coordination kick-off meeting and subsequent meetingsConfiguring of project site to host BIM data (if applicable) or other equitable platformsSupport setup of VDC field equipment and software (total stations, laser scanner, UAVs)Perform VDC work and support project personnel in VDC processes, including assistance with related technical support issuesProvide support for VDC services where applicable (laser scanning, drone operations, RTLS, etc.)Assist VDC Manager in developing project-specific VDC strategies, scope and plan in addition to standard processesSupport implementation of project specific VDC strategy and VDC initiativesProject specific leadership and mentoring for VDC and related technology fieldsManage on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC applications and processes in addition VDC deliverablesAssist project specific contract language in coordination with VDC Manager for trade buyoutBasic QualificationsWe are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented individual that will relish performing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with ability to multi-task, produce quality deliverables, and meet project-based deadlines.
