Job Description & RequirementsChicago, IL - General Orthopedic SurgeryStartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $600000.00 - $650000.00 Orthopedic Surgeon, Physician Roles and ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat disorders related to the musculoskeletal system.Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fracture repair, and arthroscopic procedures.Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with medical staff.Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic medicine.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical careKnowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usageKnowledge of related accreditation and certification requirementsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentEffective verbal and written communication skillsRequired Skills & QualificationsMedical License in IllinoisBoard certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty3-5 years of experience is preferredCompleted a US Residency ProgramStrong surgical and diagnostic skillsOrthopedic Surgeon, Opportunity Highlights:The position consists of Monday-Friday outpatient clinic at Calumet City and Flossmoor and perform orthopedic surgeries at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital.Clinics are staffed with Medical Assistants, Nurses and Physician Assistants.Competitive compensation package.Exceptional benefits – Medical, dental, retirement, time off, and CME allowanceCompensation Range - $600,000 - $650,000Community Information—Live and work in Chicago!The third-largest city in the nation, Chicago is filled with excitement and sought-after attractions, including Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park, and many more of the city’s well-known distinctions.
