The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing exceptional talent across the organization. Through sophisticated research-based and relationship-driven strategies, you'll build a robust talent pipeline of "ready now" candidates aligned with current and future company needs. This role operates as a strategic partner to executive leadership, replacing external search firms by delivering superior results measured by cost efficiency, quality of hire (retention and performance), and speed to fill. You'll provide consultative guidance on complex searches while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment process for professional, technical, and management-level positions
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to each position and function
Source passive and active candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and networking
Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and company culture
Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Research and identify top talent through sophisticated Boolean searches and advanced sourcing techniques
Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions
Develop relationships with high-caliber professionals for current and future opportunities
Create and maintain a talent "database" of qualified candidates aligned with ongoing business needs
Implement creative sourcing strategies to reach passive candidates and underrepresented talent
Hiring Manager Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent acquisition strategy and market intelligence
Conduct intake meetings to understand position requirements, team culture, and success profiles
Provide consultation on job descriptions, compensation ranges, and competitive market positioning
Guide hiring managers through the interview and selection process with best practices and compliance guidance
Deliver real-time updates on candidate pipelines and recruiting progress
Candidate Experience & Assessment
Facilitate exceptional candidate experiences from initial contact through onboarding
Conduct comprehensive video interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit
Present only the most qualified candidates to hiring managers with thorough assessments and recommendations
Coordinate interview schedules and provide timely communication throughout the process
Gather and provide feedback to candidates and hiring teams to support informed decisions
Offer Management & Closing
Identify candidate motivators to structure competitive and compelling offers
Conduct salary negotiations and pre-close candidates on compensation and benefits
Extend offers of employment with accuracy, reviewing offer letters and ensuring compliance
Answer candidate questions and address concerns to achieve high offer acceptance rates
Partner with HR and hiring managers to facilitate smooth onboarding transitions
Metrics, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Track and analyze recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, WoW metrics, and quality of hire
Provide hiring managers with market insights on compensation trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and efficiency
Stay current on recruiting trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate talent acquisition
Employer Branding & Events
Participate in career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote Ashley's employer brand
Build relationships with universities, professional organizations, and community groups
Represent Ashley as an employer of choice through social media, content, and networking
Collaborate with Marketing and HR on employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing
Additional Responsibilities
Manage employee referral programs and executive referrals with professionalism and follow-through
Participate in special projects and talent acquisition initiatives as assigned
Share knowledge and best practices with the Talent Acquisition team
Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in all job functions
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS) preferred
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience
Proven track record filling professional, technical, and management-level positions
Experience sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines
Background in high-volume or multi-requisition recruiting environments
Corporate in-house recruiting or agency recruiting experience
Experience in manufacturing, retail, or related industries preferred
Work Environment
This position is located in a climate-controlled office environment with standard lighting and moderate noise levels typical of professional workspace settings. The role primarily involves sitting at a desk for extended periods while working with computers, phones, and other office equipment. The collaborative environment includes interaction with team members and may require attendance at meetings, conference calls, and cross-departmental communications during regular business hours.
