Human Resources Business Partner
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for delivering practical, people-centered HR support aligned with business needs. Serving as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, this role supports employee relations, performance management, and HR policy guidance while ensuring consistency, fairness, and mitigating risk. This role works closely with the managers in the groups they support to promote a positive, high-performance, service-driven culture. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.Responsibilities:Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to employees at every step of their IEL journey; providing care, guidance and coaching while effectively mitigating business riskAddress and resolve complex employee relations matters, including conducting thorough, objective, and well-documented investigationsBuild a performance-based culture by engaging with managers and employees; coach managers on nurturing high performance and addressing under-performance on their teamsProvide guidance to employees and managers within their client groups, as well as HR team members on a wide variety of HR processes, programs, policies, and toolsSupport leaders in navigating sensitive employee relations matters, including performance management, terminations, and other employment related issuesAppropriately escalate or transition matters to the correct partners, ensuring a seamless handoff and exceptional customer experienceProactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solutions that enhance efficiency and consistencyEnsure the seamless delivery of our employee experience, driving service excellence with a focus on efficiency and consistency in the experience we deliverBuild and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to improve the employee experience, share information and influence changeShare best practices and collaborate with peers to develop solutions to complex or challenging situationsAnalyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policiesPartner with members of the HR team on specific projects on an as needed basisRequirements:Bachelor's degree3-5 years of Employee Relations ExperienceAbility to communicate ideas and data in a persuasive and appropriate mannerStrong coaching, conflict resolution and ability to have difficult conversationsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCollaborative, innovative and customer-focusedMust possess the ability to thrive in a team-based environment and work effectively with employees of all levelsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travel as needed; a few times each year on averagePreferred:SHRM-CP or PHRExperience working with Workday HCMWorkday ProExperience supporting a remote client group
