Lead project management and execution of multiple activeConstruction Materials Testing (CMT)and geotechnical projects from start to finish.
Review andfinalizedaily field reports, lab data, and project deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and timeliness.
Supervise and mentor a team of field technicians, junior engineers, and admin staff.
Assign training and conduct quality checks on their work.
Manage client relationships fora largeamountof clients/accountsacross various sectors; public, private, industrial,residentialand more.
Represent ECS in industry organizations and host client-facing educational sessions.
Overseecontracts, change orders, invoicing, and collections. Track and manage project budgets and profitability.
Perform site visits andmaintaindirect involvement with key projects to ensure quality assurance and issue resolution.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, technical insight, and consistent follow-up.
Collaborate with department leadership on staffing, resource planning, and team integration.Career Development

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or relatedfield.
5+ years of experience in CMT, geotechnical, or related civil engineering projects.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites.
Strong communicationskills and proven project management experience.
Ability to prioritize work under pressure and manage multiple project timelines.Preferred Qualifications
PE (Professional Engineer) licensehighlypreferred.
Additionalcertifications such as ACI, ICC, NICET Level II or III in Soils, Concrete, and Asphalt.
Deep understanding of ASTM and AASHTO standards for field and laboratory testing.
Experience with in-situ testing (e.g., density, moisture), cone penetration testing (CPT), rebar inspection, bolting, welding, and concrete strength validation.
Priorsuccess in business development or client-facing roles.The expected pay range for this role and location is $90,000 - $115,000/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
