OPEN POSITION: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - All-Ages Urgent CareSCHEDULE:- Full-Time- Rotating 2-Week Blocks- No On-Call- Every Other WeekendWEEK 1 SCHEDULE:- Sunday to Wednesday, Off- Thursday, 9:00am to 8:00pm- Friday, 9:00am to 8:00pm- Saturday, 9:00am to 8:00pmWEEK 2 SCHEDULE:- Sunday, 9:00am to 7:00pm- Monday / Tuesday, Off- Wednesday, 1:00pm to 8:00pm- Thursday, 9:00am to 8:00pm- Friday, 9:00am to 8:00pm- Saturday, OffCOMPENSATION:- $55 to $75+ per Hour, dependent on experience- Malpractice Insurance- Full Package NegotiableLOCATION: Falls Church, VirginiaCOMPANY PROFILE: This urgent care clinic provides expanded medical care - including limited primary care services - to the Falls Church community. Its owner-operator is a dedicated physician who, together with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, provides services in a comforting, efficient environment. The organization operates multiple urgent care centers in Virginia, and the Falls Church location opened in 2020.POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is an all-ages position and visits are supported by a dedicated clinical assistant to room, prep, and assist as neededA provider will treat 30 patients on average during an 11-hour shift.Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:- obtaining history of present illness- performing physical examination- ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing- prescribing medications- stabilizing patients with high acuity medical issuesUrgent care procedures include, but are not limited to:- venipuncture- peripheral line placement- dressing changes- wound management- application of splints- incision and drainage of simple abscesses- removal of foreign bodies- suturing of simple wounds or lacerations- removal of sutures or staplesThe clinic also provides non-urgent services, such as physicals, immunizations, evaluations, and more.The clinic uses an EHR.REQUIREMENTS:- Virginia NP or PA license- DEA- FNP or PA certification- backgrounds in urgent care, ER, ICU, and similar areas preferred- 1+ year advanced practice experience preferred- new graduates will be considered on an individual basisHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your CV to Jenn Kunkel at or call .Please visit to view a full list of available opportunities with CHS Recruiting.
