Position Summary The Endocrinology Physician coordinates a course of treatment for patients with a variety of glandular and metabolic imbalances while working with an inter-disciplinary team of nurses, physician assistants, dieticians, surgeons, pathologists and pharmacists. The Endocrinology Physician will act as an expert in endocrine disease management and prevention. Required Skills Demonstrated expertise in endocrine diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding an Endocrinology Physician scope of practice. Demonstrated experience with obesity and metabolic syndrome in a clinic setting preferred. Fellow or certification from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities. Independent performer. Experience Graduate from an accredited Medical School Graduate form an accredited Internal Medicine Residency program Graduate from an accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship program.
