Trial Attorney

The Joel Bieber Firm is looking for an experienced personal injury Attorney to join its growing Sexual Assault practice. Qualified candidate will handle a heavy and complex case-load of Sexual Assault cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial. Preferred candidate has personal injury experience with a minimum of 5 years of trial experience with a passion for advocating for victims of sexual assault. Candidate must have a personality and demeanor suitable to interact with trauma victims. Candidate must have a Pennsylvania law license. Admission to practice in additional states is preferred; but not required. Salary and commission commensurate with experience. Attorney Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a caseload of sexual assault cases from intake through resolution. Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and develop case strategies. Collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys to ensure comprehensive case preparation. Provide compassionate and effective representation for survivors of sexual assault. Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process. Advocate for clients' rights and interests in all legal proceedings. Represent clients in court, including pre-trial motions, depositions, hearings, and trials. Develop and present compelling arguments, examine witnesses, and effectively cross-examine opposing witnesses. Negotiate settlements when appropriate, while always prioritizing the best interests of the client. Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and trial preparations. Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including investigators, social workers, and medical professionals. Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and support staff. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents. Qualifications: JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school Member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing Minimum of 5 years of experience in trial litigation, with a focus on sexual assault cases. Strong trial advocacy skills and a successful track record in court.
