Technical Operations Manager
Bank in Manhattan is seeking a Technical Operations Manager for a full-time position! Experience with the Jack Henry system is key.Position SummaryProvides operational analysis, design, installation, maintenance, and modification of core and ancillary bank systems, working independently under overall project objectives.ResponsibilitiesExperience with Loan Vantage workflow setup, document templates, exception tracking, and integration with Synergy or Silverlake.Provide support for application software and best-practice suggestions for teller, imaging, and retail systems.Perform DDA, Savings, and CD product setup in Silverlake and OnBoard.Interface with Finance to build general ledger interfaces where needed.Monitor the Jack Henry portal and distribute relevant information to staff.Develop project plans, organize and lead project teams, monitor progress, and evaluate effectiveness.Develop and manage internal procedures, tools, and documents to maintain application integrity and availability; enter and track cases to resolution in internal IT helpdesk software.Coordinate with systems, database, and network administrators; support users through technical support, develop procedures, facilitate and coordinate training, and promote end-user self-sufficiency.Conduct product evaluations, participate in vendor selection, and develop vendor partnerships.Stay current with technological developments in the fintech sector, systems and application support, and management and user support practices.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline required. Technical experience related to the area of assignment may substitute for the degree requirement.Three years of bank core system experience, including supervision of others or lead responsibilities, required.Knowledge of available system software, hardware, regulations, structure, techniques, and management practices of one or more subject-matter areas.Ability to operate and document system operation to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures and State/Federal guidelines; communicate system operation information orally and in writing.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently.In-depth knowledge of GLBA and other information technology regulations.Previous experience with Jack Henry and Associates systems preferred.CompensationBase pay range: $120,000.00/yr – $125,000.00/yrSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionInformation Technology and FinanceIndustryBankingLocationNew York, NY (Manhattan)J-18808-Ljbffr
