Job Type Full Time or Part Time Patients Per Day 8-10 EMR System - NextGen Work Location Outpatient, All Ages Job ID 60732 Job Description A Phoenix, Arizona based client is seeking an excellent and compassionate Psychiatrist to join their practice to provide outpatient psychiatric services to all ages. An ideal candidate is collaborative, believes in patient-centered care, and is a motivated leader. Applicants should have one or more years of experience post residency. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree Current AZ medical license Completed an accredited residency program Current DEA certificate Board eligible or certified in psychiatry Current BLS certification 1+ years of experience Responsibilities Provides direct psychiatric evaluation and evidenced-based pharmacologic treatment of patients, focusing on patients with diagnostic or therapeutic challenges who are identified in discussion with the patient s BH clinician and/or PCP Provides consultation to clinical staff and primary care providers (PCPs) as needed regarding the client s care, treatment recommendations and progress via documentation in the client s record, face to face or telephonic consultation Actively participates in Quality Assurance activities of the Division with regard to treatment Utilization Review, medication monitoring, peer review, procedures and processes Completes all required documentation in a timely fashion including: the preparation of reports and written documentation, notes and medical records, all other forms and documents as required Performs crisis interventions as needed including but not limited to conducting suicide assessments and make recommendations to medical providers and patients; determine if crisis response services are appropriate for patient safety Works in coordination with the Director of Psychiatry/Director of Psychology to ensure full integration of services and a team based approach to care Maintains productivity expectations in accordance with clinic/program guidelines Performs any other job-related duties as needed, assigned and/or as requested BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance bonusesHybrid work schedulesState loan repayment and national loan repayment siteHealth/dental/vision/life insurance, HSA 401k with matchShort and Long Term DisabilityAbout Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
