DOEShift DetailsThis position is on 3rd shift in the Genotyping Lab:Monday – Friday, 1:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.Position OverviewThe ideal individual will support daily activities in the laboratory by leading general operations, housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of the workspace.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport general lab operations, including housekeeping and maintaining a clean, orderly workspaceReceive and label incoming samplesMaintain and receive sufficient labware inventoryPrepare buffers and reagentsTroubleshoot and operate equipment needed for genotyping productionReview and archive task-related documentsRequired Skills & ExpectationsUnderstanding and adherence to Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelinesAbility to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow guidelinesCommitment to maintaining a safe work environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks effectivelyComfortable working with more than one supervisorAbility to interface with manufacturing and research personnel
