Financial Analyst I

Job Title: Financial Analyst ILocation: Los Angeles, CA 90038 (Onsite)Duration: 9 Months (Extension Possible)Pay Range: $34/hr. - $37/hr.Job Description:This position is responsible for processing payments, and related activities, for term deals and projects in development. Also, the financial analyst is tasked with maintaining financial data and metadata in SAP financial system.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Enter contractual obligations in financial system (SAP) and maintain project metadataProcess Cast & Crew payroll for Animation division, and Film Division when neededCalculate and process monthly term deal producer overhead payments in accordance with contractual termsSubmit set-up and termination paperwork for term deal employees; compile bi-weekly timecards; process expense reportsLiaise with payees during vendor set-up processReview and process invoices relating to development projects and term dealsPrepare cost-to-date summary with interest calculation, as requested by business usersAssist in preparation of supporting schedules for commitment management reportingManage travel credit card payment and monthly reconciliationPrepare journal entriesAssist in managing calendar for head of Development FinanceOther Ad-hoc reporting as requiredBasic Qualifications:Bachelor s Degree in Accounting / Finance Proficient skills in Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)2 years Finance/Accounting experienceAdditional Qualifications:SAP and or Oracle experience preferred but not requiredGood analytical skills; detail orientedStrong time management, organizational, and communication skills
